The research facility was plagued with a serious glare problem from the skylights above the security system monitors. Before I was contacted, a number of solutions had been explored, including glazing and blinds on the skylights.
I enlisted the talents of an artist to design a ceiling-suspended fabric hanging that would obscure the glare. The successful solution, which appears entirely intentional and integrated with the architecture, was also the least expensive resolution explored. The client was delighted that their logo was subtly displayed.
